First timer from Northwest Arkansas

My name is Sarah and I've just ordered 10 assorted colored egg laying chicks. They should come in the mail in the next few days. I have three children that I homeschool (ages 7, 4, & 1). They are terribly excited to take care of chickens and I'm excited for the eggs. We live on almost a half acre outside of town. My goal is to learn and take actions to be more self sustainable! I think this will help. So excited to learn from the rest of y'all!
