First Timer from Oregon

I live south of Portland in farm country on a couple of acres. Married for nearly 25 years to a wonderful woman and we have two daughters and one son (almost out of the house

)

Shortly after moving here 10 years ago we bought 6 hens from the feed store and enjoyed having a few chickens around. So when the last girl died a couple of years ago I wanted to focus on an a breed or two and try raising our own. I really like the Rocks and have 9 month old Partridge (2 Roos, 3 Hens) and Buff (4 Hens - looking for a Roo or two). I want to find Blue and Silver Penciled as well.

Looks like a great forum and look forward to networking with other chicken enthusiasts and weirdos like me.
