first timer hatching Coturnix quail

this will be my first time hatching quail eggs. i bought jumbo browns goldens and texas a&m. i have read a lot of post on how easy they were to hatch then i found some post on how people only had 2 or 3 hatch out of 45. need to know the does and donts. i have 3 chicken hatches under my belt now and have had fair hatch rates with them. any help would be great. the go in tonight after they warm up to room temp.

We use the same settings as for chicken eggs. If they are shipped eggs there can be no telling on the hatch rate. Hope they do well for you.

yes they are shipped eggs. so i will keep them 99.5 forced air with about 40% humidity. till last 3 days then up it to 55 to 60% humidity.

The batches we have just hatched out our temp was close to 100 in a GQF sportsman, the humidty was about the same.
