Hello,
This the first time I've ever been in a forum and not so sure exactly how it all works, but here goes. I found this forum because I am trying to get some genetic answers on colors for Silkies and also Orpingtons. I just started using an incubator this year when a friend coundn't get hers to work. I've had great success, but am trying to figure out the genetics of different colors. For example I understand what you get when you breed a black/blue/splash Silkies, but what about adding a white Silkie to any of those colors?? Hopefully someone out there is willing to share some of their genetic knowledge without losing me

I wish I could help with the genetics question but that's not my thing - there is a section for genetics and breeding -you might try there.
