Was at daughters tonight and grandson says, Oh Mom I think you have a chick in your incubator. Both daughter and I looked at each other and ran to her bedroom and here was a bunch of eggs rocking and a lot that pipped already. About an hour later out pops a Blue Orph LOL what a sight that was. So cool to see that lil guy unzip that eggs so fast. She had about 10 more to hatch tonight. Cant wait to hear the count tomorrow when she calls me on her way to work.

Its getting closer 6 more days for me. This waiting is driving me nuts. LOL

These last few days seem to be taking an awfully long time!

Candled my split hatch -
11 out of 12 Light Sussex are developing
5 out of 8 from my girls are developing

Gonna leave the questionable ones in for a few more days, then will take them out if still no change.

I got so excited reading about all these babies and anticipating my own hatchings soon (Lockdown begins Tomorrow) that yesterday I purchased week old BO...... AM I CRAZY or what?

Sorry I haven't written. Some hatch buddy I am, huh?

Here's mine:

I had 3 blood rings, 2 that didn't develop and 2 that didn't even start. I have 13 in bator now and they're all good!!! I admit I've been candling every other night since day 4, so I run more risk, but I can't help it. Yesterday they were wriggling and I saw lots of watery yolk and today they seem to be a lot fuller and darker in the shell. Is this normal? I can still see movement, but they appear to have grown a LOT. I can still see the air cell about 1/5 of the top of the egg - I hope that's okay?

I am soooo excited! I'll wait a day or two then candle for the last time.

I am lucky - sofar no exploders or stinkies.

I'm rooting for y'all - gooooooo bators!!!!
