First timer, need hatch day advise! (Video)

The 6th was born overnight. The 7th is still breathing, so hopefully it will make an appearance this morning.

#6 was from a “paint” egg. Coloring is a bit hard to tell at this point since it is still a bit crusty.

That chick was the one before this, I believe. That chick is a tiny blue, and is smaller than the others. It is still a bit of a mess, but seems to be doing fine, despite looking a little worse for the wear.

Final tally is 6. The 7th egg quit late last night. Upon opening it, the poor little thing hadn’t developed quite right.

Final stats:

12 out of 12 eggs were fertilized.
Lost 5 due to incubator problem.
7 eggs went into lockdown.
6 live and healthy chicks hatched.
I dry incubated at 99.5. Cranked humidity from lockdown on.
