I really appreciate your help! This is the best I can get right now without opening it up.
Hmm, membrane looks good (not dry) definitely has enough air access, the hole looks smaller than i'd expect for zipping, but the tears made in the membrane look like more than just a secondary pip. Give it about 12 hours from when you thought it was zipping and stopped. If you know approximately when that was. It could just be resting.

If it doesnt do anything after that and you have no other in progress zipping then take out the chicks and have a good look at that egg.

They have since rolled it over again, and I was able to see movement. Of course they rolled it again immediately after lol. You’d think they’d be tired! #4 seems okay for now. I will give it time. Thanks so much for your help, and patience. I appreciate it!

We have a 4th! (tho not the one from earlier still) The other chicks really hover over whichever Egg is trying to hatch. Cute, but it must be frustrating when they roll you over just as you’re making progress!

now that I saw a better look at it the chicks running around must have just knocked the pipped shell off. It looks good just resting. :D

If my newly hatched chicks are running amok, I often will put a towel or something over the incubator viewport so they can't see out. That settles them right down and they usually sleep, then perk up the second I move the towel to peek inside. :)

Hopefully my last dumb question of the day.. will the sac come off on its own? The chick has been dragging it around for a few minutes.

sometimes it will some times it won't. If it's still on there when I take them out of the incu I usually cut the thin strand connecting it to the chick.
