Hi i have a question for all you exerts on incubating eggs. I am just starting out on this whole thing and dont know much about it. I am only doing my bantams eggs which i only have one rooster and two hens. Last year i let my hen sit on eggs and i had a wonderful hatch but this year i want to get more babies. But im only gettin one egg a day right now since one of my hens was attacked by my dog. She didnt hurt her she just got really spooked. This was only yesterday so i know she wont start laying for another few days when she really calmd down. But my question is how long will eggs keep before you absolutely need to start incubating. I dont want to put some in the incubator and add some later i would like to do it all the same day. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
