Hi everyone! I am so new to this and am getting so overwhelmed by all the information, and just when I think I have an answer I find 20 different ones. So maybe someone can help here. I have 4 babies (2 polish 2 silkies) and I am reallyvjust wondering when they can stay out at night? Our temperatures haven’t been below 60 and it is getting about 90+ during the day. Thank you for any advice!!

How old are they? How much feathers do they have?

Whenever they’re fully feathered you can let them out whenever you want. Welcome to backyard chickens

How old are they? How much feathers do they have?

From what I have gathered they are just about 4 weeks old. They look like they are fully feathered, I’m just not 100% and I would hate to do something too soon. Thank you for responding!!

That’s great because the advised time to let them out is 4/5 weeks.

Start by taking them out for a few hours on the warm days, do this for 2 weeks and then you can have them out full time. Just make sure they’re fully feathered
