I've got 4 Rhode Islands and 3 unknown. Never had chickens before and live on a fairly big lot in the inner city. I'm worried about chicken health. I've lost one chick to a mysterious disease and one to my Basset Hound

Sorry for your losses. It happens to owners. Can you train your dog not to hurt them? How old was your chick?

It was a 6 week Rhode Island. I think this endevor is going to be a little more heartbreaking than other pets but so far it has been rewarding. I've been looking on the other threads for health tips!
