Welcome to BYC.

You need a box or fish tank to keep them in.

They need a food and water bowl that is easy for them to reach. The water bowl should not be deep, as the chick may drown.

They need soft bedding. Newspaper will not work because it's slippery and the chick will get splay leg. Wood shavings are good.
