First timer

Hello everyone! My husband and I have always wanted a hobby farm and last year we bought our dream home on 10 acres in beautiful Oregon. This spring we built a coop and now have a little flock (1 roo and 3 hens). I have a 3 yr old daughter and we have thoroughly enjoyed our little chicken farm the last couple months. I am, however, beginning to realize there is a lot more to chicken keeping than building a coop and keeping them safe from predators! I already have a sick chicken and I realize I need some advice from experienced poultry keepers!

I agree with DD. Post as much detail as possible, such as the hen's age, symptoms, behaviour, what does her poop look like etc here:
