First timers

We are new to this-we have 6 Buffs which are 3 mths old. The temp has been in the 100s for several days. We have water with ice,watermelon,plenty of drinking stations and a tarp on part of our outdoor coop. Is it normal for them to pant a lot,though ?

Normal. They will also put their wings out a bit from the body.
