happy to be new chicken owners!! bought my granddaughter (she's 3) 11 chickens the end of March from tsc 6 red pulletts and 5 bantams! really expected some to not make it but they all survived!! lol we can use all the help we can get! made one of the hrse stalls into a coop by lining with chicken wire seems to work great so far all are growing leaps and bounds!! one rooster as far as I can tell and it's a Bantam. Lucky guy! Anything we need to know? Happy Pecking!

Make sure you coop is predator proof as they will wipe out years of work in the blink of an eye ...... and chicken wire is to keep chickens in and nothing out but congratulations on your poultry so far ......
Keep up the good work and your hens will give you all you need from them ....
