We have been looking and asking about good egg laying chickens, have some ideas but not quite sure at this point, was told the Black sex links were good layers.
didn't realize there was so many chicken breeds can't even pronounce some of them

, got any advice on good laying ones would sure appreciate any advice

If sheer egg production is your goal, only White Leghorns can match the lay rate of Black Sex Links, and in really cold winter weather, my Black Sex Links have outlayed my White Leghorns.

lol, i know, their are so many!

My Production red and australorps are great layers...not quite up to the same level as leghorns and sex links and leghorns.

I hope you find suitable chickens, I have never had experience with black sex links but can say White Leghorns and ISA Browns are efficient layers. (Although most of my ISA Browns have had health problems later in life)
