This is my first try at hatching eggs. They were all shipped. I saw a pip last night on day 22 and the little fuzzy one emerged at 11am. I saw 4 others had pipped this am and they were all the same breed. My one jubilee
Orp was the largest egg and I candled to see if I had an internal pip and I did!! It was moving inside.
How long should I leave the first chick in before relocate to a brooder? Plus how much longer should I wait on the pipped and unpipped eggs. I'm trying hard to be patient!!!
Any thoughts?

Welcome! It's hard to wait, but you'll just have too. I personally think that as soon as the first hatched chick is dry you can put him in the brooder. But other people think that you should wait until all the chicks have hatched before doing that. (each time you open the incubator it lowers temp and humidity) It's your choice.

I've named the little one Brigit, :) I figure the first one gets a name regardless :) she's still wet but I think ill move her when she's fuzzy. She makes a ton of noise! I did hear chirping from another egg so I'm keeping fingers crossed
