First to molt, first to lay ?

My new flock is 10weeks old ( Hamburgs, barnevelders, Cochin ) My question is, will the first pullet that started her molt be the first to start laying ? The first to start at 8 weeks was a barnevelder then the two Hamburgs followed the week after. I know that Hamburgs are faster to develop than barnevelders. Who should I expect an egg from and any guesses or thoughts on when that would be are appreciated.

Not nescessarily.

Heritage breeds generally take 20 weeks or longer to start laying. Sex-links usually start a few weeks earlier.
