so this is my first attempt at building a chicken coop its not 100% done but I'm relatively happy with it so far it is 8x6 and the coop is 3x6 (please excuse the mess in the garden it is time to rip up the fall stuff and plant the winter greens)
for those of you wondering why i have the redwood fencing up so high on the left side of the coop and along the front i have two dogs who do not mind the noises nor the smells of the chickens but if they see them they will try to get them

Your doing a good job. I'm making a dog kennel 8ft by 4ft with large dog house into chicken brooder/coop. I have 28 chicks 3 weeks old. First time raising chickens
