First turkey eggs!

I haven't washed them yet, but it's so exciting! I have a BBW and a BBB. Evidently one of them has laid twice, but I just saw them today. I got them both as one day old chicks June 5th, 2013 and learned later that this breed is only meant for meat. At nearly 8 months old they are both healthy and active and now giving me eggs! I thought that if I could keep them "on a diet" , I might start getting eggs from them around March or so...this was so unexpected...and thrilling!

That is so exciting. I keep looking in my coops hoping for Turkey eggs. I have nars. I got them in August. I did get a mills fleur d'unccle egg today. Very first one from her. I hope her sister starts soon. Yippy! Spring is almost here!

Oh yes! Spring is right around the corner and that means.....CHICK DAYS!!!! All kinds...chicken chicks, ducklings, keets, poults....My wishlist grows longer every day!

Mine too. It's very long... My husband is picking me up another pen so I can get some more babies. Hopefully we can get it set by next weekend.

No Turkey yet but another mille fleur egg!!! My Turkey hen is walking funny so I think it's soon.
