Since my chickens are still af ew weeks from laying, and my roo is just well...hanging out, I finally have my first official USE for them today! :-D I just spent 4 hours weeding my garden and DH was mowin grass and then drove around gathering up the clippings...now we're taking a trip to the coop with a large pile of ym weeds and radish stems and the grass clippings! Hooray!!! LEss waste in the feild and a treat for them! And it will give them something to do! I convinced DH to pile up the grass clippings in a corner so I can occasionally grab a bag full and take them to the coop!
