Others on this forum have posted that their ducks liked watermelon, so when we went shopping for their lettuce today and Costco had some small watermelons for sale, we had to get some. After the initial "let's get Mikey" moment (if you are too young to get this reference:
), they decided it was a great success
We started with two eighths so they could try it without wasting too much...
Since they liked that, I brought them the other quarter that had been cut to make the eighths.
Finally we brought them the last half... This is the best way to feed them we found out. It holds the juice and gives them the full dabbling experience.
