First year raising chickens - 7 hens, 1 accidental rooster

What causes this!!?? Regular egg and then just got this monster of an egg today - had them for about a year - laying for about 7 months

Welcome to BYC, Steph. It might be a one time thing. Wrinkled eggs can be caused by respiratory illness, but hopefully its just a fluke.

As @janiedoe mentioned, respiratory disease can cause wrinkled shells.

When I get an egg like that, it's from a newer layer. I got one the other day with no shell, too. They've always got a dish of oyster shell, are on Kalmbach's Flock Maker, and can still hand out those funky eggs!
