FirstTimer Using SafeGuard/Second Round

My apologies if this has been covered before. On the advice of the vet, I gave the girls Safeguard due to evidence of worms in fecal test. Rather than use the liquid, I used the equine paste which I administered for 5 days. It's been 30 days and it's time to give them a second round but here is my question - do I give them Safeguard paste again for 5 days? Someone told me just to give them one dose and that's it. Thanks in advance for any feedback!

30 days? I thought you had to repeat the dose in 14 days to kill the eggs that hatched. I could be wrong but seems like 30 days may be too long since the eggs that hatched may now be grown and laying more of their eggs so that you didnt break the cycle. What worms did you have?

The paste is fine to use.
