Fish meal alternative in homemade layer feed

Balancing a home made diet is tricky, expensive, and so not worth the effort, IMO. Are you on a university website, or the site from the vitamin/ mineral suppliment you are using? It's about the correct amino acid balance, among other things, so I couldn't offer an exact substitute, except that if fish meal is in the recipe, that's what's needed for that blend.
