Well we are at it again! Bought eggs from Bakers Emu nest. Same place we got the eggs that our male emu came from. These eggs will be due Feb 15 so wish us luck!

Just an update, eggs are a little over 4 weeks in. The smallest egg got stinky so we removed it. The person we bought the eggs from replaced it so we started a new egg this morning with the other two. By Friday we will start testing the eggs for wiggles.

Great news! We have definite wiggle in the 548g egg. Only two more weeks til the 50 day mark which could be hatch day. Or we may have to wait longer, lol.

Oh man, I can’t believe I forgot to fallow up on this. We had issues with the babys being fully developed but dying before they could pip. We tried hand turning instead and won’t you know, we got baby’s. So I think they needed more fresh air as hand turning involves opening the incubator.
