So I was looking at some stuff, and saw something about an incubator made out of a fish tank. I've already got an incubator that holds 42 eggs, so I would just need a hatcher. I've chicken and duck eggs in my incubator right now, but if I did make the aquarium into a hatcher, I would not use it this time around. I thought a fish tank would work good, 'cause I would be able to see what is going on inside the incubator, but I'm worried about air circulation. Would it work to insulate three sides and leave the other uninsulated so I could see inside? Or would this kill the eggs? Any other advice on how to build one? Any other input would be helpful. Thx in advance.

Based on the experience of another person just finishing a hatch about a week ago using a fish tank, insulation is a must. Hatch was late, started at 22 days. SO temper were running low. Maybe a foam cooler is less work?
