Anyone have any guesses on what this barnyard mix might be a mix of. It was the only survivor thanks to an inaccurate thermometer during my first attempt incubating eggs.
It hatched from a light brown colored egg. Hens in the flock include ISA brown, barred rock, Easter egger and white leghorn. Possible roosters are Easter egger and white leghorn. My first guess was leghorn roosters and ISA brown hen. Based on the brown egg it came from and the white feathers. But I thought both of those breeds have large single combs. And this chick looks to have a short comb to me. Thanks in advance for any opinions on breed and or gender.
