Five week old chick. Male or female?

Hi everyone,

It’s been four weeks since I last posted this question, so now I’m gonna try again now that the chick is more grown.

This is a chick that my broody hen hatched on July 1. Father was a white leg horn, Mother was an Amaraucauna. I’m still trying to figure out the gender.

Personally, I think it’s a female because of its behavior.

If it’s still too early to figure out the gender, please let me know. Otherwise, could someone please help me figure out this chick’s gender?

It's still a little early but I'm leaning pullet. I don't see any glaring signs of it being a cockerel.

The comb seems “built up” so I’m betting on cockerel

At almost 5 weeks its still a little too early to say for sure, but nothing says cockerel to me right now. I think its most likely a pullet, but there's still time for surprises.
