I hatched 20+ eggs and got about 90% roos!!! These cockerels are about 21 weeks, ....and there's WAYYY too much testosterone in the chicken pen if ya know what I mean.
A couple of these guys are starting to eat out of my hand, so they're like pets now. Earlier this season I butchered some Penedesenca-Marans crosses, disgusted with the ebay seller who bred these abominations, but can't bring myself to butcher these white marans. Offering them for free to anyone who wants to come to North Alabama to get them.
I figure anyone frequenting BYC knows the value of White Marans and will give them a good home, thus why they're free.
