Yup. 2 days ago we found this old 10 hole roll out nest box that was pretty beat up, so naturally we fixed it up [IMG] It actually works GREAT and even with hay in the nests the eggs will still roll down into the "cubby hole" where the eggs will stay clean and wont get pooped on. it also makes it a whole lot easier to pick up the eggs too. all you have to do is lift of the tin piece that is over the "cubby holes" and wallla! there are your perfectly clean eggs waiting for you to pick them up.
I did a search on these nests boxes and found that a 10 hole roll out nest box is around $300 (maye less) and we found ours for free! I am very happy with our find [IMG] and it made us finish the tin inside the coop so that also means that insalation wont be all over anymore.. (i will have to post pics in a little bit) [IMG]
