fixing a plastic waterer

I have a large plastic waterer from TSC. It has a slow leak in it and I can not find it. Anyone have a trick for locating the source of the leak?

empty the water out of it and immerse it in a tub of water, it will bubble where the leak is.

If it has a removable top with an "O" ring, put a little Vaseline on it before you tighten it

You may also clean the lid area well, place it under water and then blow into the jar unit, air bubbles will come up from the leaky area.
