Background- I started with 3 Runners: 1 drake, 2 ducks last year. The drake definitely has a preferred duck. ( I've never seen him mate with the other) To prevent over-mating, I got six ducklings this year, and after 7 weeks have determined that I have 3 drakes and 3 ducks in that set.
Question- If I keep the grown drake I already have, and add in the new ducks, will he hopefully develop more "broad tastes" and mate with other ducks? Or would I be better to replace him with one of the newer drakes?
I never thought I'd be typing such an odd question, but here we are... thanks in advance for your opinions!

My 5 yr old Runner drake has 7 females he hatched with and are all a flock. My other Runner drake hatched here with 2 females and they have been accepted into the flock they are 2yrs old. I have never seen my oldest Drake mate with the 2 youngest females. But my youngest drake will mate with the older girls. Even though the love of his life is the 2 he hatched with. Just really hard to say if your drake will take to more females.
