Flagging on craigslist

If you have a whole litter of pups to rehome. They flag cause they consider you a breeder. If you just had one to rehome. THen they would think your just rehoming your pet. They figure if you have a litter. You may have another one. Then you are breeding dogs for money. Even if it is only a $10 rehoming fee. Stupid I know. But I have problems with craigslist.

I have sold bunnies on Craig's list w/o getting flagged, Just lucky I guess. I agree with the comment someone said. These people don't care about these animals, they just want to make you miserable. If I kept a dog and all eight pups w/o rehoming them they would be poorly cared for, I couldn't afford that. I would rehome with no guilt. I remember when I was a kid people gave pups away all the time, and kittens with no probs. I don't get it. Anymore so many people act like getting a pet is like adopting a child, they want to inspect your home, see your yard. CRAZY!!! That's why so many are being left inshelters and put down. They humane society in our area makes it practically impossible to adopt animals in our area. Then they complain no one wants them. They are expensive to adopt, vet bills are outrageous, you only have so long to get them spayed/nuetered or they take you to court to get the pet back. All you hear when you go is them put down people and say people are stupid. Isn't it people trying to adopt and take care of them? Aren't they people? IDIOTS in my opinion. What is the big deal anymore, let people have their pets, yes even the low income should be allowed too, and leave them alone. Sorry for the rant. Just these "we are better than you" people drive me nuts.

Say they are in need of rescue. They need adoptive forever families. Dont say what breed and ask for an adoption fee rather than re homing fee. When u rehome it looks like u were not a responsible owner. Rescue and adoptions looks like ur a savior of animals. Lol and peta peeps love that! Shows how stupid they ard. Fee should be more as well. And if someone asks u rescued from what, say the dang pound! Lol

Craiglist is driving me nuts right now because of all the flagging. I am trying to find an American Pit Bull Terrier puppy, and every time someone lists one it gets flagged, no matter what the ad says.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have them listed on the farm and garden section right now and they haven't flagged it yet. I also haven't had any askers yet. 2 of the puppies are already gone. I'm just going to keep trying. And yes, mom will be getting spayed as soon as the puppies are gone. She got out of her pen, the breeding wasn't intentional.

I agree that there is a lot of needless flagging on craiglist. i myself have been flagged even after following the rules.
As for OP having the adds falgged read the craiglist rules.
For the Farn and Garden section it states legal sale of agriculture livestock is okay. You cannot even give away a pet in the free section.
You cannot put a pet (dog, cat,or whatever) for sale on craiglist.
I do not know if yours was put on craiglist as "for sale" or not but if you did there is a way around it
by putting them on as puppies needing re-homing and then charging a small re-homing fee.(at least that's what craiglist rules say).
Even if you do follow the rules look for some nutjob with nothing better to do to flag it.
Believe me, I know how frustrating it is.

Ya I have been flagged in the materials section for selling shower doors and in the farm and garden section for selling chickens. I don't get it.

Contact Craigslist and ask them why your adds keep getting flagged. They were doing that around here last year and after I complained a few times it stopped. We were getting flagged but I saw other adds still were - they would say flagged for removal. So there must be some kind of admin setting on Craigs list that puts your name down not to be flagged.

Flagging isn't the only problem on Craigslist but bashing emails also. I got a real good bashed email when I was trying to rehome my pups and yeah, it got HOT (some people know about the email). I did ask for a small fee so that I can get Mama fixed but that didn't work, I ended up giving them away for free. Now I still have Mama and she is not fixed and she is now back in heat (ARGH!) but Im keeping her chained up and haven't seen any other dogs come on my property, actually Ceila, my hunter's hound already fixed when I got her, wont allow another animal come on the property.
