Niana kept flashing at the squid and it was slowly losing its grip, then she felt what she'd been fearing, the bottom of the ocean. The squid grabbed onto anything it could once it touched the bottom, the squid dragged niana to the ground and started biting and ripping at her with its parrot like beak.
 
Dolphin swam through the currents and decided that he was going to explore the bottom of the ocean today. He was grumpy at the moment and wanted to hide in the dark depths forever, so he swam down and down... he was nearing the bottom when he saw faint flashing in the distance. He swam over and to his horror, Niana was being killed by a squid. oh no! he thought and swam over to the squid. He flashed at it, trying to distract it.
 
Niana bit back at the squid and clawed at its face with one of her loosened legs, the squid saw blinking in the distance but payed little attention, he'd already found his meal, niana saw the blinking and frantically blinked as bright as she could, but her strength was almost gone and she could barely light up.
Niana clawed at its tentacles, severing one and filling the water with blood, much of which was her own.

The squid lunged at dolphin out of anger and bit his neck with its beak.
Niana tried swimming away but the squid held tight, even while attacking dolphin, she turned and bit the squids face, ripping a large chunk out.

Dolphin roared in pain, bubbles leaving his open jaws. His grip loosened and he bit at one of the squids tentacles.
