Firstly, please do not tell me to kill it.
I have a 1 week old chick. I thought it had chicken poop on it's head so I tried to clean it with a baby wipe. A thick flap of skin lifted up and there was 'moist' stuff underneath. I don't know if it was skull or brains I saw.
I have realised the black mark must be a burn from the brooder. It is a plate on 4 legs.
Is there any way I can wrap it, bandage it, etc to keep it clean and allow it to heal over.
Please remember, I am in England so please don't use brand names of creams, antiseptic sprays etc.
