Got it. I am going to guess mine is a male then. So far the barring is pretty obvious. Thanks!Sorry that was a typo, if the barring is more spread out it could be a hen. If there is new feathers growing in that have more spaced out barring it could be a hen but close together barring is closer to a male

Oh, cool! So you think I have a hen? That’s great news, as I have heard that it is often easier to find a good home for a peahen than a peacock, and I won’t be able to keep her/him after the end of September. I saw these bars on the wing and thought it might be male, but what do I know?I'm still thinking hen, maybe send more pics in a month or so
