One of our Rouens has something wrong with her leg where her ankle (or whatever the scientific term is) is flat instead of the usual right angle, and it can’t be bent back normally. It’s causing her to limp, which heavily restricts what she and what we can do with the flock. Originally we thought it was Niacin deficiency, since she was raised in captivity, but the doses didn’t seem to have any effect. Is a bone broken or what, and how can this be fixed so she can live a happier life?

Edit: for clarity, this is just her left leg, the right one is perfectly fine, she just bent it herself in the photo.

Has it been like this since you got her? How much does it affect her? Does she lay down frequently? Is she not able to move as fast as the other ducks? Any signs of actual pain?

3 months, she can still walk but not well, yes (specifically after walking for a lot), if they’re going faster or walking a lot then yes, unsure if there’s pain.
