Flat Centipede Attack?

Hey there! My family and I have found flattened Centipede in our house. One near the pantry door and two out in the open of my sister's room. Here is a picture of two of them:


We have three cats that have been known to bring in pinecones and a dead mouse once.
Could it be them? Why would they be flat?
Could they have come in and be flattened somehow?
Help!!

I think they've just died and dried out.

Are they pets? If not, I wouldn't worry about them.

I did some googling and I think it's a bark centepede.

The first centepede was found about 2-4 weeks ago. Found those two today

They are not pets.
Why would they be coming inside? We do a pretty good job of not leaving food out..
