Okay, so for certain reasons I may or may not be getting my coop built the way I want it this year. I've been letting my flock out of their run with our older, larger flock and they seem to be doing fine. The run is covered, and I'm thinking of turning it into a coop for this winter because of 1. the coop they're in now probably won't last the winter and 2. the coop is nowhere near sufficient in size. The run has a flat roof and I'm just wondering, with the feet upon feet of snow Maine is destined to get, how do you keep the roof from leaking, breaking... etc.
Thanks,
Madie
