I ate one of our eggs today and thought it tasted a little strange.. not quite right, but not really bad either. I'm guessing it is because the girls have been invading our garden and, among other things, eating a lot of dill seeds. I've read from this forum about garlic and onion tainting eggs.... So here's the idea...
we embrace the tastes of our chickens and start encouraging consumption of the aromatic vegetables/herbs and raise preflavored eggs... no need to add garlic to your scrambled eggs, or taragon to your hollandaise sauce.
Or maybe it could just be our secret ingredient.....
