Fleas around chickens eyes

Get some 10% permethrin spray and mix up as strong a solution as you are comfortable using, then carefully apply with a needless syringe onto the fleas. After a day or so they should fall off.

The amount I just used was 1/2 ml concentrate and 2.5 ml water. Less concentrated might might, but that's what worked for me.

You can also pick them off with tweezers.

Thank you...I have always used Backyard Chickens as my "go to" site and finally signed up and I am so happy that I did I will use the 10% Permethrin spray.

Sevin dust kills them too. I use a Qtip with a little on it, around the eyes.
