Fleas..........

Do chickens carry fleas? Just wondering if/what people use on their chickens for preventative measures? Mine are all healthy, just wondering what powder I should use on them to prevent any bugs/pests etc....

I have been successful putting DE in the food and dusting my chickens as well as dusting the pen. Some people like Seven Dust...but I personally prefer the DE. It has been good for my dogs and cats too...fleas were real bad for a while and since I have been using it...not only have the fleas seamed to have been controlled but the worms too. Whatever you decide to use...good luck!!!
