Flex seal for duck Run?

Hi! I have two Khaki Campbell ducks, Pepper and Stevie. It’s getting into the colder season here, and I’m beginning to winterize their pen.

The enclosed part where they sleep/lay eggs in is wood, and I’m afraid with all this rain that’ll begin rot, this leading to leaks.

So I guess my question is, could I spray the outside of the run with flex seal? Or would that be too risky? Thanks to all who answer in advance!

Flex seal is great to use and is ok to use around the poultry flocks, It is even safe for ponds too! if you are closing them in at night make sure that they have vents for air flow.... Let it dry before you let them around it!

it dries pretty fast so I would say after it dries...
