Does any one have any solutions for lots of flies??? They are every where, driving us nutts!!! Bombed the house the other day to kill the ones in the house and it is almost as bad as it was before we bombed. Every time the kids go in and out of the house it seems as though more flies get in.. I need an outside solution that works, really works!! My chickens can't even eat them fast enough and I think they are getting tired of eating them. Help!!

I had found some sticky sheet thingys at Walmart that you put on your windows. They catch an amazing amount of flies and you don't get your hair stuck in them like the fly strips. I hate those things. My sizzle pen has a concrete floor and the flies where horrible till I put a fan in there. Now they're fly free and keep cool.

An old thing I see alot of people do is they put a penny in a zip lock bag and fill it 1/2 with water and hang it over windows and the door. Somehow it's suppose to keep out flies. I've never tried it myself, it looks tacky.

With all the poop from the animals, flies are just going to be there. I don't think there is a way to eliminate flies outside. And the little pests are going to get in somehow if they can. We go around the house with fly swatters several times a day and it never seems to help. It's like for every one we kill another one appears to replace it.

Try to clean up the areas where they may be breeding. They like moist manure and rotting vegetation. Manure can be hot composted to kill the larvae.

We are trying fly predators this year. They seem to be helping so far. There are very few solutions for the outdoors otherwise.

Try the outside foggers we used it because the flies were bad at our BBQ's worked well and also on top of that try the yard spray worked well for us!! Hoped this helped:)

I have guineas and they still cant keep ut with them (there is still some flying around). I find the best solution is a sticky trap.
