Flies

What does everybody do to control flies in their coops? I "scoop poop" every other day usually, but still have flies that hang around. I was wondering what else can be done to control them.

I use Lots of DE in the coop, nests and run, but this year seems to be a very bad year for flys. I made a fly catcher from a soda bottle deal someone had posted on this forum and it sits on the ledge by the back door, and i'm amazed at just how many flys it has caught.
Maybe when cold weather gets her it will stop the fly problem. marrie
