Flight of the guinea fowl

Train them to do 'what'? They are truly interesting birds.
2x this.

I used to have guinea fowl and the most I ever got them to do was eat out of my hand once. Guinea fowl are very flighty birds and are a lot harder to handle than chickens. For one, they're not as social/friendly towards humans as chickens are. I can imagine they are very hard to train.

It is well worth taking the time to train your guinea fowl! They are amazing!

I couldn't get the video to load but when I shake a can of bullets 17 five month old guinea fowl fly to my body and hand. Almost like a trained hawk.

Feed training is commonly used with pigeons to call them into the loft. The same principle can be applied to training all fowl. This can be very useful upon the occasion of a predator attack.

I concur. That's what I do for my strong fliers. I feel like it builds a better bond as well
