Hi. This is the journal about my chickens. I'm always going to update it and things. ~WARNING~ some of the things I put on will be sad.
There will also be tips in here too.
~I WILL POST PICS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE~
``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
So. Right now I'm looking at the two feathers of the late chicken, Shrimp. The only chicken in the world that knew how to give a hug. Wings and all. The only chicken that killed a coyote. A big one to. His story is sad. I miss Shrimp.
Shrimp was always a little older than my other chickens. He had lots of friends. His death troubled the chickens like never before. A about four month old brown leghorn rooster. The last time I ever saw him was when he gave me a big hug. He was playing in the field the next day with the rest of his friends. That's when the coyote came. Shrimp and the coyote had a gory battle. Shrimp was wounded badly, but the coyote died of blood loss. Then Shrimp went somewhere quiet and peaceful to die. The chickens were heartbroken when they found his dead body. Even I started crying. It wasn't a good day.
So that's today's entry in my journal. And now the tips for today is:
- If you run out of chicken food and you don't want to buy more at that moment, feed them human food, but nothing moldy.
- Always keep watch over your chickens, it could save their life.
