I have a question about my rooster. He seems very, very flighty. Whenever we walk towards him, he freaks and runs. I've never had a rooster like this before, because my first rooster[or, roosters] would attack you, and my second one was like that for a little while, because we got him and a hen from a good friend, but soon he settled down and was very apt in his duty to chase us away.
So I'm asking what would make a rooster this flighty? Hes a Rhode Island Red, and had the same childhood as the hens, nothing traumatic, and only a few of them run. So whats going with my little guy?
I'm used to getting 'hugs' from roosters, not their tail feathers as they run.
