My turkey managed to hatch one poult but a couple of the chicken hens got in and gave it a decent peck to the leg. I pulled it out and have it in my incubator with my eggs going into lockdown tomorrow. Gave it a drop of nutri-drench. It's quit shaking but seems to be a flipper. Going to try to save it but I have questions on feeding

What is best to hand feed a poult like this? I've read the threads on flippers but am unsure about feeding. Just electrolytes at first? Thin slurry of chick feed and water?

Poults need a high protein feed like a turkey or gamebird starter from 26% to 30% protein much higher than chicken starter. If you're looking for something to give poult a quick boost Poultry nutri-drench is the best, quickest nutrient I have used for this.
