You don't have to separate them. Broody hens usually wean their chicks after 6-7 weeks. It's always better to let the hen raise them with the flock. It makes it easier for the chicks to get accepted by the older chickens and mom teaches them lots of things too.

thanks that wot i was worried about,i have 9 more nearly full grow chicks in the same coop,so the other chickens wont kill them ???? thanks again
